Consumer demand for organic has grown by double-digits nearly every year since the 1990s, according to the Organic Trade Association. Most impressively, organic sales have increased from $3.6 billion in 1997 to $43.3 billion in 2015. 2015 brought the industry’s largest dollar gain ever, adding $4.2 billion in sales.
Entering our 50th anniversary year in 2017, Progressive is a leader in the produce industry, and especially in organic produce. Not just with our Nature’s Bounty line, but with organic offerings across all our fresh produce commodities.
And now we’re accelerating our efforts to increase organic sales for our partners.
We’re unveiling a new look that is designed to really stand out in the produce department where over half of all organics are sold. It features fresh new graphics and modern attractive colors that will be highly visible to shoppers.
At Progressive Produce, we believe in the future of organics. And we’ll continue to offer you the latest innovations in organic produce.
